Alexander Wathan was one of the winning team members from the Grande Finale event on September 2nd. His dad, James, wrote to us to say they he had a fantastic day out at the DTM world touring car championships. He sent us this picture of Alexander, beaming with pride in the pit lanes as he was photographed with Lewis Hamilton. Alexander got the chance to chat briefly with the F1 champion, even telling him that he’d driven an AMG 63! Lewis replied that was cool and Alexander was doing really well for an 11 year old!
Well done to Alexander and the rest of the winning team! We’d love to hear from the rest of the winners to find out about their day too. How was it?

I was in the winning team aswell. The day was great, meeting Lewis and competing in the challenges was very fun. We were not expecting to win, so it was a real suprise.
