We were pleased to welcome Lara Moore to Mercedes-Benz World for her first Pre-Road session last weekend. Lara, who isn’t seventeen until August, is taking the opportunity to develop her driving skills on our handling circuits before she’s able to drive on the public roads. After her session, we asked Lara to share her experiences with us, here’s what she had to say:
“I went for a driving experience with Mercedes last Saturday for my first lesson. My driving instructor was called Helen who was really friendly and helpful. She taught me a lot in just an hour, such as the cockpit drill, moving off (preparation, observation, manoeuvre) and reversing round a corner. I passed my silver and red level in the lesson so next time I have to work on my orange level. I loved the car I was learning in because it was so easy to drive. I cant wait for my next lesson, it was a lot of fun.”
Lara will be back soon, looking to further improve her skills and to get that all important head start in her driving education.
